This senior role supports the operation, integration, security, and improvement of systems in classified and unclassified environments. Troubleshoot complex system, server, application, and integration issues. Support system integration across AFRL DREN, NIPRNet, and related environments. Plan, test, document, and implement system changes, upgrades, and migrations. Administer Windows, UNIX/Linux, and virtualized environments. Perform patching, backups, account maintenance, access control, and system recovery checks. Support Active Directory, LDAP, storage, and enterprise backup systems. Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security. Maintain configuration baselines, inventories, change records, diagrams, and technical documentation. Support vulnerability scanning, DISA STIG compliance, security remediation, and cybersecurity requirements. Provide technical input on network upgrades, technology refreshes, lifecycle planning, and recovery services. Communicate technical issues and recommendations clearly to Government, contractor, and customer teams. Requirements CompTIA Security+ or another DoD 8140/8570-aligned certification. Active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it. Experience with VMware ESX, Active Directory, LDAP, Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025, Linux RHEL, storage, or backup systems. Experience with DISA STIGs, vulnerability-scanning tools, PKI, COMSEC, or RMF activities. Experience with operating-system administration, server support, troubleshooting, system integration, and technical documentation. Experience with configuration management, change control, security baselines, and vulnerability remediation. Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills. Ability to work on-site at Wright-Patterson AFB.
