This position serves as the primary owner of the VMware virtualization platform, the hybrid Microsoft Exchange environment, enterprise email security, and Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure including Pure Storage, HPE Nimble, and other storage arrays.
The Systems Administrator performs installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, upgrades, disaster recovery planning, capacity management, and lifecycle replacement of enterprise systems. Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, clusters, resource pools, virtual switches, datastores, and virtual machines.
- Administer and maintain the OTA hybrid Microsoft Exchange environment integrated with Microsoft 365.
- Administer Pure Storage, HPE Nimble, and Hitachi enterprise storage arrays.
- Provision storage for VMware clusters and enterprise servers.
- Administer Proofpoint email security services.
- Maintain spam filtering, phishing protection, encryption policies, and email authentication technologies including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Maintain Windows Server operating systems supporting enterprise applications.
- Perform routine patching, vulnerability remediation, and health monitoring.
- Respond to infrastructure alerts and critical incidents.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance windows.
Preferred Qualifications:
VMware, Proofpoint Email Protection, Pure Storage FlashArray, HPE Nimble Storage, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID, PowerShell scripting, Cohesity backup solutions, Enterprise SAN administration- Minimum 3 years of work experience
