Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Enterprise IT Network
Cisco Switching:
Catalyst (L2/L3)Cisco Wireless:
WLC, Access PointsFirewalls:
Cisco Firepower / ASA (or equivalent)- Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
- Cisco ISE (NAC, authentication) Core Networking
- TCP/IP, VLANs, VXLAN,
- Routing (OSPF/BGP)
- NAT, ACLs, segmentation OT Awareness (Good to Have)
- Basic understanding of: o IT/OT segmentation o Industrial environments o OT security concepts Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary SME for all IT network related incidents.
- Perform end-to-end troubleshooting and resolution independently
- Handle high-severity and production-impacting incidents with full ownership.
- Perform deep root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
- Manage and support
Enterprise IT Network:
o Cisco LAN (Catalyst switches- L2/L3) o Wireless (WLC, Access Points, RF troubleshooting) o Firewalls (Cisco Firepower / ASA or equivalent) o Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
- monitoring, assurance, compliance o Cisco ISE
- authentication, NAC, policy enforcement o Proactively identify and fix network health and performance issues. o Work closely with onsite OT/network plant teams for:
- Plant network dependencies
- Industrial connectivity issues
- Change coordination impacting production o Provide IT-side inputs for IT/OT segmentation and security.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently is critical
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to handle production-critical situations under pressure
- Clear communication with IT, OT, and business stakeholders
- High discipline in documentation and change processes
