Systems Administrator

Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications. The successful candidate must plan his/her work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership.

Specifically :

Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers in a multi-site enterprise. Manage user accounts, permissions and security access rights through Active Directory and Group Policy. Apply operating systems updates, security patches and firmware upgrades to maintain systems integrity. Plan, implement and test data protection strategies, including system backups and disaster recovery (DR) plans. Analyze system logs and employ monitoring tools to identify security threats and improve performance. Provide advanced technical support to help desk technicians to resolve endpoint problems. Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, user audits, access rights audits, and DR testing. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology 5 years of Systems Administration experience Deep proficiency in Windows Server and Linux systems, including working in virtualized environments Thorough understanding of
