Job Overview Cityscape Technologies, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Network Systems Administrator to help maintain, monitor, and improve network infrastructure and business systems. The successful candidate will support network connectivity, server operations, system security, and troubleshooting while helping ensure reliable access to essential technology resources. This role is suited to an IT professional who can diagnose technical issues, maintain secure systems, document configurations, and provide dependable support to business users. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls. Monitor network performance, connectivity, availability, and system health. Administer Windows and other supported server environments. Maintain user accounts, access permissions, and authentication settings. Investigate network outages, connectivity problems, and performance issues. Apply system updates, security patches, and approved configuration changes. Support network security controls, endpoint protection, backups, and recovery procedures. Assist with network upgrades, hardware installations, and infrastructure improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, equipment, incidents, and resolutions. Coordinate with IT colleagues, service providers, and end users to resolve technical problems. Follow established security policies and change-management procedures. Provide technical support for escalated network and systems issues. Required Skills Experience in network administration, systems administration, or IT infrastructure support. Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and switching. Familiarity with Windows Server and directory services such as Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID. Knowledge of network monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools. Understanding of firewalls, access controls, endpoint security, and patch management. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to prioritize incidents and manage multiple technical tasks. Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications. Experience supporting business networks in a managed IT services environment. Familiarity with cloud networking, virtualization, backup systems, and disaster recovery. Experience working with ticketing systems and service-level expectations.
