Job Description

Job Description RTX is a global leader in aerospace and defense, providing advanced systems and services for commercial, military, and government customers. We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Technician to join our team in State College, PA. The Senior Infrastructure Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure servers, networks, and storage systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT infrastructure. Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure seamless operation of systems. Document processes and procedures for IT infrastructure management. Provide technical support to end-users as needed. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management. Strong knowledge of server and network technologies. Experience with virtualization technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills.
