Position Summary TESCAN is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Sales & Customer Operations Specialist to support our growing Americas Service organization. This role serves as a central point of coordination between customers and internal teams while helping drive service-related revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will manage customer communications, support the service quotation process, coordinate opportunity follow-up activities, and help ensure customers receive an exceptional experience throughout the lifecycle of their TESCAN systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer engagement, sales support, operational coordination, and collaborating across multiple business functions. Key Responsibilities Support Service Revenue Growth Coordinate service-related sales opportunities including service agreements, upgrades, repairs, training, and preventative maintenance offerings. Prepare and manage service quotation requests. Follow up on open customer opportunities and assist in moving opportunities toward closure. Identify opportunities to expand services within TESCAN's installed customer base. Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience Serve as a primary point of contact for service-related customer inquiries. Maintain timely communication regarding quotations, scheduling, service activities, and order status. Build positive relationships with customers and provide responsive support throughout the service process. Help ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. Coordinate Across Functions Collaborate closely with Service Engineers, Technical Support, Applications Specialists, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams. Gather information necessary to support service proposals and customer solutions. Assist with planning and coordination of service activities. Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and service records. Maintain Operational Excellence Manage customer and opportunity information within CRM systems. Support forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management activities. Monitor open opportunities and ensure timely follow-up. Contribute to process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Qualifications Required Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three years of experience in customer service, sales support, customer success, service administration, inside sales, or a related business function. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Experience using CRM and business management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Experience supporting technical products, scientific equipment, industrial equipment, or service organizations. Knowledge of quotation processes, service contracts, customer lifecycle management, or sales operations. Experience working within ERP and CRM environments.
