Program Details:

This position supports the United States Air Force (USAF) Electronic Technical Information Management System (ETIMS) program mission by ensuring all systems, applications, and processes comply with Federal, DoW, Air Force (AF), contractual requirements and technical standards. The Government Program Office is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

Scope of Work:

This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of AWS-based environments supporting ETIMS. The role provides senior-level technical expertise to ensure system performance, security compliance, and operational stability while supporting architecture implementation and modernization efforts. The position may be required to support on-site meetings with the Government customer and Integrator team members in the Dayton, OH area.

Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain AWS cloud environments, ensuring availability, performance, and security. Support enterprise architecture and cloud modernization initiatives, including replicating production environments for development, testing, and server backup. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system, network, and application issues across a multi-cloud infrastructure. Build and maintain deployments for AWS/C1 production, development, and test zones. Ensure compliance with

RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA

STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity standards. Manage system configurations, patching, and updates in accordance with security baselines. Support CI/CD pipelines, automation efforts, and infrastructure-as-code implementations. Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to align operations with design and compliance requirements. Develop and maintain documentation, system baselines, and operational procedures. Support system accreditation, audits, and continuous monitoring activities. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and support staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

7 years of experience in systems administration or cloud administration within DoD/federal environments. 5-7 years of experience implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments. Experience with Jenkins, including converting Jenkins pipelines to Terraform and Ansible. Experience with GitLab, GitLab Duo, or similar DevOps platforms. Hands-on experience administering AWS environments (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.). Strong knowledge of

RMF, NIST, DISA

STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements Experience supporting enterprise-level, mission-critical systems. Familiarity with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. Security+ (or equivalent DoD 8140 baseline certification) required. Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Must hold and maintain a Tier 3 (Secret Clearance), as required for the position.

Preferred Requirements:

AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator). Experience supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate or similar federal programs. Familiarity with enterprise application stacks (Java, Oracle, Apache, etc.). Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments. Physical Demands /

Work Environment:

Work is primarily performed remotely, with occasional travel to Wright-Patterson AFB or other Government locations as required, up to 25%. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk. Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling paperwork. Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays. Why Us?
