Role Description This full-time Network Administrator role is a hybrid position based in Reno, NV, requiring travel no more than 4 days per month (US), with flexibility for part-time work from home. The Network Administrator will manage, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related systems. Responsibilities include configuring network components, ensuring network security, responding to incidents, and performing regular performance and health checks. The role involves diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues, coordinating with system administrators, and providing technical support to internal teams and clients. The Network Administrator will also assist in implementing security best practices, documenting network configurations, and supporting ongoing modernization and compliance initiatives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Network Security. Candidates should possess solid abilities in Troubleshooting and Technical Support. Candidates should possess experience in System Administration and related infrastructure management. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent are beneficial. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with firewall management, VPN technologies, and monitoring tools is a plus.
