Onsite Service Engineer (Refurb)

Pflugerville, Texas Required Technical Skills:
Industrial equipment troubleshooting and repair. Electrical and mechanical systems. Industrial lasers and motion control systems. Preventive maintenance and documentation.
Required Experience:
2+ years servicing industrial equipment. Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering diagrams. Windows PC, networking, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Required Certs/Licenses:
Certified tech or skilled worker in electrical engineering. Valid driver's license.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Additive manufacturing & industrial 3D printing. MAGICS or SolidWorks. Industrial lasers and motion control systems. Experience with documentation and quality control.
Desired Experience:
Customer-facing tech service experience. Equipment refurbishment & component replacement. Remote & on-site technical support. Preventive maintenance of industrial equipment.
Note:
This position is Monday-Friday on-site at the Pflugerville facility and may require occasional evening or weekend work.

On-Site Service Engineer:
You'll be the hands-on technical expert responsible for keeping advanced industrial additive manufacturing equipment operating safely and reliably. Working from the Pflugerville facility, you'll install equipment, troubleshoot complex technical issues, refurbish machines for resale, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure every system meets quality and safety standards. If you enjoy detailed troubleshooting, hands-on mechanical and electrical work, and solving technical problems, this role offers an opportunity to build valuable expertise in industrial 3D printing technology. What You'll Do Install and commission equipment at facilities according to company specifications. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, refurbish, and reassemble used equipment for resale. Identify worn or damaged components and determine the required repairs. Conduct inspections & testing to ensure refurbished equipment meets quality/safety standards. Provide on-site and remote technical assistance for equipment troubleshooting and repair. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on customer equipment. Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and field service reports. Manage service tools and spare parts inventory and maintain accurate company asset records. Partner with 2nd Level Support to ensure the installed equipment meets company standards. Support projects involving training, documentation, and exhibition installations. Submit service documentation accurately and on time according to procedures. What Makes You Successful 2+ years of experience servicing industrial equipment or automated machinery. Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and motion control systems. Ability to interpret schematics with a technical background in electrical engineering technology. Experience with industrial lasers, CNC equipment, automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing. Familiarity with MAGICS, SolidWorks, Windows PCs, networking, and Microsoft Office is a plus. Great communication skills and the ability to work independently while building customer trust. Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel internationally when needed.
