Our company provides Managed IT Services for businesses of all types and sizes located throughout the US. This makes for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that is very different from normal internal IT positions. Because we are servicing clients instead of internal users, customer service is one of the most important things to us and is a cornerstone of our business. The ideal candidate is someone who likes to work with a wide variety of people, can manage competing priorities while moving quickly from one issue to another, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment. This job isn't for everyone but if you find yourself bored with your daily routine and want something more challenging this might just be the place for you. We also have a variety of projects, including brand new business and network setups, workstation and server refreshes, VoIP deployments, and a whole lot more so you will be exposed to more varied technology than in a normal IT environment. You need to be comfortable driving or commuting to work in traffic.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Processing and completing eligible Desktop, Server, and Network repair tickets Performing proactive and scheduled maintenance on client computer systems Management of monitoring systems and alerts, as well as ongoing refinement of alert thresholds Management of client Office 365 environments including Exchange and SharePoint Online Management of client Windows Server environments including Active Directory high-level management and Group Policy Management of client firewalls and network routing including Cisco Meraki, SonicWALL, and Cisco Management of client layer 2/3 HPE, Aruba, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Ubiquiti managed network switches (adding and removing VLANs, configuring ports, documenting all changes) Onsite service ticket resolution and projects This position is roughly 60% remote support and 40% onsite support at our client's locations Additional list of tools/experience that will be helpful for this position:

Expert or very high level not only reset password and create users
PowerShell:
Mid to a high-level understanding of creating scripts and running troubleshooting using the tool Group Policy objects: Create, troubleshoot, modify

Create VM's, Troubleshoot, virtualization experience Microsoft 365: General system administration knowledge
SharePoint:

IT Glue, Hudu, Passportal Backup Software and BDR appliances: Troubleshooting configuration, deployment We are seeking candidates who have: 5 or more years of relevant experience in IT 2 or more years of relevant experience specifically in Server and Network management Prior work experience with a Managed Services Provider is required A valid driver's license, personal vehicle (for when you need to go see clients), and automobile insurance An AA or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or other majors is preferred but not required A Microsoft Certification or Cisco or SonicWALL certifications are highly encouraged If you don't have any degrees or certifications yet don't worry. You will be spending time on the phone and in-person with clients, solving and explaining issues as well as documenting them clearly and concisely Customer service skills are a must. You will be interacting with clients daily, so you have to be organized, concise, and patient with a broad variety of client needs. Good listening skills are a prerequisite. You need to be able to work well in both a team environment when working from our office and in the field on projects. You will be the forward-facing representative of the Company's brand, so your skillset of technical problem solving must be balanced with tact, diplomacy, and emotional intelligence. A coordinated, strategic mix of hard and soft skills is required. Everything we do is documented in service tickets, so any experience you have working with ticketing and dispatch systems, especially ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, or similar is very beneficial Sales engineering experience is a plus.
