Provide engineering and technical assistance to customer facing staff for the sub region (NAM). This includes Sales, Application engineers, QRC operations personnel, and direct customers. Assist in problem solving issues in regard to applications in the field and develop the best possible replacement, repair and/or upgrade solutions to aftermarket opportunities within the scope of the Quick Response Center (QRC) capability. Resolve technical problems that arise during valve evaluation and repair in the QRC. Expand the QRC capability by networking with Regional Service engineers in their region and Flowserve (FLS) OEM factories. Assist AEs with problem solving of issues with FLS or competitor product in the field to help build commercial proposals. Assist AEs with the FLS technical interpretation of specifications, procedures, policies, quality, and equipment reliability to concerned parties. May telecommute. 10% domestic and 3% international travel required. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or an engineering-related occupation.
