Job Description-Service Support Engineer I Location-Remote Job Summary We are looking for a Service Support Engineer I to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of IT services and applications. The candidate will work closely with users and technical teams to resolve incidents and maintain service quality. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support for applications, systems, and infrastructure issues. Monitor service tickets and respond within defined SLAs. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. Escalate unresolved issues to higher support teams when necessary. Maintain incident, problem, and service request documentation. Support system maintenance, deployments, and upgrades. Communicate effectively with users regarding issue status and resolution. Ensure compliance with IT support processes and standards. Required Skills Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, and networking. Knowledge of ticketing tools and incident management processes. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in shifts or on-call support if required. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of ITIL concepts is an advantage. Nice to Have Exposure to cloud platforms or monitoring tools. Basic scripting or automation knowledge. Experience supporting enterprise applications or services.
