• We are currently seeking an experienced data professional with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server technologies, ETL development, and enterprise reporting solutions.

This role will support a major data modernization initiative involving migration from legacy systems to integrated cloud-based platforms while maintaining enterprise-wide reporting and data consistency. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in database development, data warehousing, reporting enablement, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Warehousing Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server technologies. Support development of enterprise data warehouses, staging environments, and business-focused data marts. Develop scalable relational and dimensional database models for reporting and analytics. Implement best practices around data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization. Reporting & Analytics Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather reporting and integration requirements. Build and support reporting datasets, dashboards, and analytical models using Power BI and related tools. Standardize data definitions, KPIs, and reporting structures across departments. Assist with enterprise reporting administration and ongoing BI enhancements. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or database development roles. Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and advanced T-SQL development. Experience designing normalized databases, star schemas, and data warehouse solutions. Solid understanding of SQL Server administration, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and enterprise transformation initiatives. Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Skills Power BI, Power Query, or SSAS experience. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and modern cloud data platforms. Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, or data cataloging. Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.
