TITLE:
Sr. Data Engineer•

6300 183A Toll Rd, Ste 150, Cedar Park, TX 78641 (Full-time telework permitted).
DUTIES:
Apply engineering best practices to analyze, design, develop, deploy and support scalable data solutions. Work independently to build scalable and efficient data pipelines to pull large and complex data together from different systems efficiently. Build data pipelines to interact with various on-premise, cloud data sources and RESTful APIs to achieve optimal data footprint. Develop software using continuous Deployment and integration practices. Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and tune data pipelines as appropriate. Guide, train, instruct and assist team members with technical issues and designs. Recommend and advocate for new emerging technologies needed to improve efficiency in key business processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience with designing, developing, and supporting highly scalable data pipelines.
Prior experience must include:
5 years of experience in Oracle database or other MPP databases with a focus on manipulating large volume data set (5 TB or larger); 3 years of experience with data and API integration using informatica cloud; 3 years of experience in scripting languages including Linux shell scripts and Python; API design standards, patterns, and best practices, with a particular focus on Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0, REST, SOAP, JSON and Microservices; API testing using Postman; CI/CD; DevOps data engineering practices; Experience working with version control software including Git; and Automation tools including Jenkins.
TRAVEL:
5% regional travel required.
SALARY:
$190,237 per year
