Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for managing enterprise data access governance, identity auditing, and compliance monitoring to protect critical business data and reduce security risks.
Rate Range:
$60/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator Job Responsibilities include:
Deploy, configure, and maintain Netwrix Auditor and Stealthbits solutions to support enterprise data access governance and identity auditing requirements. Monitor and analyze user activity, access permissions, and changes across Active Directory, file servers, cloud environments, and NAS storage systems. Investigate anomalous behavior, unauthorized access attempts, privilege escalations, and security-related incidents to identify and mitigate risks. Generate compliance reports and audit documentation to support regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS. Partner with infrastructure and security teams to remediate excessive permissions, enforce least-privilege access, and strengthen data security controls. Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts to improve monitoring, reporting, data collection, and remediation processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field. 6-8 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Data Security, Security Operations, or Access Governance platforms. Strong hands-on experience with Netwrix Auditor, Stealthbits (StealthAUDIT/Access Information Center), Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and data access auditing solutions. Proven expertise in access governance, data security, Windows Server administration, NTFS permissions, PowerShell scripting, and compliance reporting within regulated enterprise environments. Pay Details:
