6+ Months Systems Admin onsite position- not remote. Need exp with Vmware, Cisco, Linux, AD, Windows etc. The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting physical and virtual server infrastructure. 1. Oversee the operations of the company's servers, including hardware, software, and virtualization technologies. 2. Work with Security Operations to secure & patch systems 3. Conduct system analysis, configuration management, and develop improvements for system software performance, availability, and reliability. 4. Perform and test routine system backups and restores. 5. Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers. 6. Practice server asset management, including maintenance of server component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications. 7. Ensure the integrity and stability of the server environment through monitoring, analyzing, and participating in the planning and execution of disaster recovery procedures. 8.
