Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator II to join a national healthcare organization providing home and community-based care to patients and families across the United States. This is a Hybrid role in Columbia, MD, requiring in office attendance Tuesday - Thursday

• The Systems Administrator II is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role focuses on security remediation, Windows server administration, identity and access management, and Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure and Entra ID. The ideal candidate has a strong systems administration background, experience supporting Microsoft environments, and a security-focused mindset. Responsibilities of the

Systems Administrator II:

Administer and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain services. Perform security remediation activities, including vulnerability remediation, patching, and system hardening. Support identity and access management platforms, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, and Single Sign-On (SSO). Assist with administration and support of Microsoft Azure and Entra environments. Troubleshoot and resolve server, infrastructure, and user access issues. Monitor system health and respond to operational alerts and incidents. Support virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery platforms. Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures. Follow change management, incident management, and ITSM processes. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on operational and project-related work. Utilize PowerShell for basic automation and administrative tasks when needed. Participate in after-hours maintenance and support as required. Qualifications for the

Systems Administrator II:

4+ years of Systems Administration experience in a Microsoft environment.

Hands-on experience with:

Windows Server Active Directory DNS and DHCP Group Policy Azure and/or Entra ID Identity and Access Management concepts Experience with security remediation and vulnerability management. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Desired:

Experience with Okta administration. Experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms. Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITSM processes. Basic PowerShell scripting experience. Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions. Compensation for the

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $110,000
