Piper Companies is currently looking for an Systems Administrator in the Columbia, MD area to work for an established healthcare provider. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to be onsite 3 days a week. Responsibilities for the
Systems Administrator :
Acts as the principal administrator on several of the technologies that are managed by the IS Operations Team Mentors and guides junior team members on technical procedures as well as ITSM processes during daily operations Helps define Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and best practices for their specialized technologies Demonstrates knowledge with automation tools (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, Scorch, etc.) Creates PowerShell scripts to automate manual processes, perform data collection, and provide insightful reports Qualifications for the
Systems Administrator :
Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years experience in the field preferred Demonstrated experience with the following technologies Server and Storage hardware (Cisco UCSX, NetApp, Pure Storage, NAS, and SAN) Microsoft Windows Server platforms and services (DNS, DHCP, Route53, Certificate Creation and Management) System Management (Microsoft Systems Center, SolarWinds, MECM, Azure Arc) Virtualization and Cloud (VMware, Nutanix, Azure Local, Azure, Entra, M365) Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, HAB Groups, Okta, SSO/AD FS, Entra ID, Centrify/Delinea) Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V a plus Compensation for the

Salary Range:
