Job Description
The IT Department at FMAA provides reliable, secure network infrastructure that supports the data and voice systems used by all airport departments, as well as airline passenger processing throughout the airport. The Systems and Network Administrator plays a key role in maintaining this environment by providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support to airport employees and stakeholders. Responsibilities include supporting the airport's LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, switches, servers, and low-voltage cabling both on-site and remotely. The position also supports the SITA Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS), coordinating complex issues among stakeholders, vendors, and airport staff. Additional duties include maintaining physical access control systems, security cameras, and identity management systems; managing long-term technical projects; training users on IT and cybersecurity best practices; staying current with industry standards; attending relevant technical training; and maintaining accurate documentation within the airport's asset management system. Minimum Training and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience supporting network infrastructure, systems administration, help desk operations, or enterprise technology environments. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
