Job Description

The Technical Support & Service Technician primarily performs troubleshooting, repairs, and support of transcutaneous blood gas monitoring systems and medical respiratory devices. The ideal candidate will primarily work with customers, territory managers and cross functional departments within the organization to ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide service and repair on all Sentec and Percussionaire products including replacing and/or repairing required components. Troubleshoot, calibrate, test and perform routine and complex repairs on returned medical devices. Provide technical support to internal and external customers via phone, teleconference, or email. Organize, test and update medical devices, install and replace hardware and software upgrades. Log any formal customer complaints and incoming customer calls/emails in the quality management system (QMS) for traceability and to identify failure trends. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferred in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a technical support and/or service repair position required; preferably within the medical device field. Experience with ERP systems, specifically Oracle Netsuite preferred. Experience with QMS systems, specifically Qualio or QT9 preferred.
