Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a customer-focused Print Services Support Specialist to support a printer fleet within a professional law-firm environment. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong customer service skills, clear communication, and professionalism, with technical troubleshooting experience related to printers and basic IT support. The primary focus of this position is printer fleet support. Secondary responsibilities include mailroom training, followed by cross-training in print and hospitality services. While technical skills can be trained, a service-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for network and workstation printers, ensuring issues are resolved quickly, accurately, and professionally
- Respond to customer requests for technical support and printer-related training with a strong emphasis on customer service
- Troubleshoot printer issues (hardware, software, and connectivity) and escalate complex issues to technicians or management as needed
- Keep customers informed on the status and progress of issue resolution
- Document all service calls, meter reads, and requests using Ricoh Trac and related fleet tools/databases
- Maintain printer fleet tools, databases, and perform fleet meter reporting
- Manage on-site printer hardware, hot swap inventory, and consumables
- Support printer procurement as required by the customer
- Provide regular fleet performance and status updates to the Printer Fleet Manager or Integrated Account Manager
- Participate in mailroom operations training, with cross-training opportunities in print and hospitality services Qualifications Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred)
- Experience in IT Help Desk Support (application and hardware support) preferred
- Experience with printer support, mail sorting and delivery, and print services is a plus Technical Skills & Certifications
- Basic printer troubleshooting and technical support skills required
- HP Certifications preferred (other site-specific certifications may be required)
- Comfortable working with PCs, basic applications, and printer management tools Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional demeanor suitable for a law-firm environment
- Strong problem-solving skills using logic and reasoning
- Good organizational, documentation, and basic mathematical skills Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Office-based environment with normal lighting, temperature, and noise levels
- Duties require walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as required
