Job Description Job Description:
The Financial Systems Administrator will provide technical system administration and financial application support for Air Force Comptroller and Financial Management organizations. The position will serve as a technical point of contact for supported financial applications and will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade applications, workstations, and related systems. The Administrator will also coordinate with network and enterprise support organizations to resolve technical issues and maintain reliable financial operations.

  • Multiple U.
S. Air Force locations; onsite support required.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical focal point for Comptroller and financial applications, supporting installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
  • Install, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot government workstations, peripherals, and supported applications in accordance with applicable Air Force requirements.
  • Provide timely troubleshooting and resolution or escalation of application, operating system, database, server, and network-related issues.
  • Support Financial Systems Administrators at HQ ACC/FM and Comptroller locations with financial application administration and technical support.
  • Manage workstation compliance, patching requirements, configuration changes, and approved exemptions for mission-specific or legacy applications.
  • Open, track, and coordinate service desk, network, and Information Assurance tickets and communicate status to affected users.
  • Support authorized Active Directory/DRA administration, including user, computer, and group account functions.
  • Maintain IT asset and equipment inventories, hand receipts, peripherals, and related accountability records.
  • Maintain SharePoint and other approved organizational content and collaboration sites.
  • Provide basic technical assistance and user training for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and approved applications.
  • Support VoIP, telephone, VTC, and other approved communications equipment as required.
  • Develop and maintain continuity procedures and technical documentation for supported financial applications.
  • Coordinate with NOSCs, Defense Mega Centers, communications units, and other enterprise support organizations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance and access.
  • DoD 8140 / DCWF qualification for Work Role 451: System Administrator, Intermediate level.
  • Experience with Windows workstation administration, application installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications and coordinating resolution of technical issues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and standard IT support tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and perform routine IT equipment setup, relocation, and support activities.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or DoD financial management organizations.
  • Experience with Air Force or DoD financial applications, including DEAMS, DTS, CRIS, PIEE, ADVANA, DJMS, DMO, IAPS, JOCAS, or similar systems.
  • Experience with Active Directory/DRA, Remedy or similar ticketing systems, SharePoint, VoIP, VTC, or IT asset management.
  • Knowledge of Air Force financial systems and their application environments.
