Job Description

Provides support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues. Identifies, researches and resolves routine technical problems of low complexity. Responds to telephone, email and on line requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of operating systems, and appropriate software. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users. Modify and customize commercial programs for internal needs. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
