Copier Service Technician

We service and maintain Konica Minolta Copiers in commercial settings, as a part of the service department you will have manufacturer and hands on training to prepare you for field service. We set up new equipment, repair it under contract and assist customer's with networking their computers to our multifunction printers. It is important to be able feel comfortable using basic computer services, installing drivers, folders and users. Also basic mechanical aptitude is essential to perform the necessary repairs and good customer service skills will help with communicating our specific instructions to the end user's. We're based in Kingsport, TN but commuting around the Tri-Cities area is not uncommon so a good driving record and the ability to use gps will go a long way.

Learning how to repair and troubleshoot copiers and network connectivity Installing and removing equipment on-site and making necessary adjustments Accurately diagnose, repair and maintain equipment to optimum operating condition within manufacturer's specifications Perform basic network connectivity installations and troubleshooting Identify the most cost-effective troubleshooting procedure Provide outstanding customer service to our clients Inventory management You're good at: Customer service. Addressing customer concerns with a positive attitude while ensuring optimal outcomes Learning new things quickly and solving problems Shows interest in electronics, mechanics or computers Noticing details and going the extra mile Effective problem solving, deductive reasoning Time management Your qualifications: Copier / printer experience a plus Experience resolving customer issues A proven attendance history and a strong desire to excel A valid driver's license Professional appearance and demeanor Proficient verbal and written communication skills You must be able to: Lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs. Load/unload delivery vehicles Stand up to 8 hours a day Required to drive to client locations.
