Job Description

You are a strong communicator who enjoys helping others. You are a skilled problem solver who is always looking to sink your teeth into something new. This is a Tier I/Tier II position focused primarily on supporting Windows Desktop and Microsoft Office 365. You will work with users over the phone, over remote support sessions, and in-person on-site at our client's locations as needed. Additionally, you may be asked to help with IT related projects including technology deployments, migrations and upgrades. This position is based at a client location in Knoxville, TN. We strongly encourage skill development in this position and additional responsibilities are available as your knowledge and experience expand. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT support to end users via remote support sessions and on-site
  • Provide support for Microsoft technologies including Windows and Office 365
  • Configure and deploy new laptop and desktop systems
  • Document incidents and follow resolution procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Experience and Skill Requirements:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are required
  • Must enjoy working as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Ability to solve problems and learn quickly is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office 365 is helpful
  • Experience with building desktops and troubleshooting hardware issues is helpful
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field is preferred
  • 1-2 years of previous technical support experience is preferred
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy a plus
  • Valid driver's license with excellent driving record
