Onsite - Knoxville Corporate Office Job Summary We are seeking a Network Administrator with 2-3 years of experience to support and secure our community bank's network infrastructure. This role is responsible for firewall administration, branch connectivity, network segmentation, and maintaining compliance with banking security standards. As part of the IT team, you may also be responsible for monitoring the performance of various computer systems, installation and maintenance of software, hardware, and other digital tools used by the bank. This includes ensuring that all hardware is functioning properly, identifying any potential security threats, and resolving any issues that arise, as quickly as possible. The ideal candidate has strong experience with SonicWall OS, understands secure network segmentation in a regulated environment, and can assist with migration to other platforms. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain SonicWall OS firewalls (VPNs, NAT, ACLs, firmware updates). Support secure site-to-site and VPN connectivity between branches. Configure and manage VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless networks. Maintain proper network segmentation and risk reduction for: Core banking systems Teller and loan systems ATM networks Branch PII access Conduct reviews of firewalls and switching equipment to maintain updated firmware and/or patches. Monitor network performance and respond to outages or security alerts. Maintain documentation, network diagrams, deployment and maintenance procedures, and follow change management procedures. Participate in computer systems patch management and vulnerability scanning to resolve security findings. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts (FFIEC, FDIC, PCI as applicable). Configure new systems for installation based on new hire requests, etc. Conduct reviews, configure and update printer firmware and other peripherals. Work within the IT helpdesk ticketing system, supporting user and network requests. Participate in after-hours maintenance windows for upgrades and major changes, or on-call emergency support, as needed. Participate in special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications 2-3 years of network administration experience. Hands-on experience with SonicWall OS. Strong understanding of VLANs and network segmentation. Experience with IPSec and SSL-VPN. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, NAT, DNS, and DHCP. Strong troubleshooting in multi-branch environments. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation. Live in Knoxville or surrounding areas. Possess a valid Driver License. Willing to travel to bank's retail sites on occasion. Excellent written and oral communication skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a banking or regulated environment. Experience transitioning from one Switch family to another. Controlled access network segmentation IDS/IPS systems Multi-factor authentication solutions Network Access Control (NAC) / VPN solutions Industry certifications (Network+, Security+, Aruba, or SonicWall).
