Work Environment:
The work environment is primarily indoors in an office setting but fast-paced.
Description :
This position is dedicated to providing our field technicians with system support, customers with technical support where customer focus will always exceed our customers' expectations, and system support when necessary. Diplomacy, tact, and strong interpersonal skills must be backed with the capability and drive to analyze and solve problems for our customers quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be the "public face" of the company/customer liaison, communicating effectively with customers, and always exceeding their service expectations and building customer "best practices" for the company. Possess the basic knowledge of explaining services and offerings to customers. Respond to inquiries by phone, email, mail, and in person, providing the information required in a timely manner. Must quickly diagnose, prioritize, and troubleshoot internal/external issues with proven multi-tasking abilities, including distinguishing between customer network and company connection issues. Perform administrative tasks that support client contact and follow-up. Revise existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new technological requirements. Create/update tickets for technical support and/or service calls to the appropriate department. Ensure users have access to network systems, applications, and services. Possess the basic knowledge of Internet and networking solutions for customers. Setup and follow SOPs as necessary and required. Meet KPIs as given. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements for Role ~
Education/Experience:
A minimum high school diploma is required. 2+ years of CSR support or 3+ years of PC repair, network, or similar experience preferred. VOIP experience and/or Linux is a plus.
Skills:
Must have reliable transportation. Not a remote position. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a cooperative working relationship with a diverse employee & customer population. Ability to work independently, using sound judgment principles. Must demonstrate personal accountability in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Must demonstrate ability to document and make notes. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-change, diverse, cooperative-working environment while managing multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day. Must have the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility. Must demonstrate the desire to learn, supported with a love for technology. Must be a team player.
