IDR is seeking a Windows Administrator to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves providing advanced operational and technical support for enterprise Windows Server environments within a large government organization, ensuring system stability, security, and automation across development, test, and production environments.

Position Overview for the

Windows Administrator:

Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Windows Server environments, including physical and virtual servers.

Support SCCM operations, including operating system deployments, patching, software distribution, and configuration compliance.

Perform vulnerability remediation activities in coordination with security teams, including patching, hardening, and validation of remediation efforts.

Administer and support Active Directory services, including user and group management, Group Policy, DNS, and OU structures within a large enterprise environment.

Develop, maintain, and execute PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, remediation activities, reporting, and operational workflows.

Requirements for the

Windows Administrator:

8+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments in a large enterprise or government organization.

5+ years of hands-on experience with SCCM, including deployments and patch management.

5+ years of experience administering Active Directory in a multi-domain or enterprise-scale environment.

Strong experience with vulnerability remediation and security patching in regulated or compliance-driven environments.

Demonstrated proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
