The City of Coppell is seeking a Systems Administrator with strong technical experience in Microsoft Azure and M365, who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a broader technology environment. You'll collaborate with a team to support the systems that drive City services, including Azure, M365, Active Directory, hybrid infrastructure, virtualization, backup and recovery, enterprise systems, and public safety technology. While you may have specialized expertise in certain areas, there are opportunities for cross-training, knowledge sharing, and expanding your capabilities within the Systems Administration function. The Systems Administrator typically works Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with additional hours as needed for system maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, or critical incidents. Occasional evening, weekend, or on-call availability may be required to support business continuity and maintain the stability and security of the City's IT infrastructure. Pay Plan This opportunity is exempt and on Pay Grade #20. The full Pay Grade Range is shown for growth and development opportunities within the grade. Salary determination is supported by budget availability and qualifications of the candidate to maintain internal equity.
