Job Description

Job Summary The Systems Administrator III is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise middleware and infrastructure environments. This role focuses on API middleware engineering, system administration, infrastructure automation, and production support. The position ensures system reliability, security, and performance while supporting deployments, troubleshooting issues, and managing multi-environment systems. Key Responsibilities Design, install, configure, and maintain server operating systems, middleware platforms, and related infrastructure Provide administration and support for middleware technologies, including Mule platform and Mule runtime environments Deploy and manage cloud-based services, including AWS technologies such as S3, EC2, and API Gateway Perform system integration testing and support release deployments for new technologies Troubleshoot system, server, and middleware issues reported by users Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for provisioning and configuration Configure and maintain security groups and support vulnerability remediation efforts Support production systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution Execute deployment management and coordinate production changes Maintain secure system environments and support web access and messaging services Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions based on business needs Install and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance Support multi-environment configurations and ensure system consistency across environments Required Qualifications Experience in system administration and middleware support Hands-on experience with Mule platform and Mule runtime administration Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, and API Gateway Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform Strong knowledge of system security, including security groups and vulnerability remediation Experience supporting production environments and managing deployments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with infrastructure automation and multi-environment management Preferred Qualifications Experience in API middleware engineering and operations support Familiarity with enterprise system integration and cloud-native architectures Experience managing large-scale production systems and environments
