Job Details
IDR is seeking a Network Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Grapevine, TX. This role involves supporting and enhancing enterprise network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and troubleshooting complex network issues. It's an excellent chance to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on network security and reliability.
Position Overview for the
Network Administrator:
Support and improve enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, data center, and remote-site environments.
Troubleshoot complex production network issues and resolve firewall and routing problems.
Manage network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network performance, security, and compliance.
Support core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server.
Requirements for the
Network Administrator:
7+ years enterprise network engineering experience supporting LAN/WAN, data centers, and multi-site environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking, including switching, routing, VLANs, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including policy management, NAT, VPNs, and security troubleshooting.
Ability to diagnose complex network issues using packet captures, logs, and monitoring tools.
Experience with VPNs, site-to-site connectivity, high availability, and network monitoring.
