Job Duties:
Design and implement ServiceNow solutions focused on ITSM (IT Service Management), CMDB (Configuration Management Database), CSDM (Common Service Data Model), and ITOM (IT Operations Management) to meet organizational goals and improve IT service processes. Responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, upgrade, administration, maintenance, and support of ITSM solutions using ServiceNow. Analyze, design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB and service management ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) processes. Support and manage solutioning practices in collaboration with product owners. Review technical requirements to ensure they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated. Handle sprint releases and code migrations in ServiceNow. Establish platform governance for the technical demand and platform integrity. Utilize Workflow Editor and Flow Designer to configure out of the box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows. Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades with the purpose of certifying all integrations and business processes for use after the upgrade is completed. Enhance customized platform and portal features and capabilities, including scoped applications and external application integrations. Develop, maintain, and enhance existing scripting in ServiceNow. Design, develop, and maintain Service Catalog items with varying levels of complexity. Support ServiceNow production environment including Incident & Change Management, Reporting & Dashboard Management, and User & Group Administration. Interact with various internal support groups to create ServiceNow ITIL-compliant processes. Analyze impact of problems and escalate appropriately. Partner with internal and external support specialists regarding problem determination and resolution. Use of ServiceNow, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, MySQL, Oracle, AWS, Azure, Linux, and Windows.
Requirements:
Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience. Will accept a Bachelors degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with ServiceNow solutions, CMDB (Configuration Management Database), ITSM (IT Service Management), CSDM (Common Service Data Model), ITOM (IT Operations Management), and JavaScript. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
