Azure Administrator Associate Identity & access management Information Technology System performance monitoring IT security monitoring IT disaster recovery planning Full Job Description As the Senior Systems Administrator for Outreach Health, you are responsible for the stability, security, and performance of the organization's infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. This role oversees the design, implementation, and ongoing management of systems including Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft cloud technologies, network infrastructure, and emerging AI platforms. You will play a critical role in advancing Outreach Health's cybersecurity posture while enabling innovation through modern technologies such as AI model hosting (e.g., Ollama), vector databases, and agentic systems. This position requires a balance of operational excellence, security-first thinking, and forward-looking technical leadership. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Microsoft ecosystems (Azure, Intune, Entra ID), strong PowerShell and automation capabilities, and working knowledge of Linux-based systems supporting AI and data workloads. You are a problem solver who can operate across the full stack from endpoint support to advanced infrastructure and security engineering. This role also serves as a leader within the IT team, mentoring staff, promoting best practices, and reinforcing Outreach Health's mission-driven culture.   • Administer and maintain hybrid infrastructure across Windows Server, Linux environments, and Microsoft Azure
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Intune, Windows Update policies, and endpoint lifecycle management
  • Manage Active Directory and Group Policy, including identity governance and access controls
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD), including conditional access and identity security
  • Support and optimize SQL Server environments and other data platforms as needed Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Maintain and continuously improve the organization's security stack, including MDR, endpoint protection, email security gateway, and web filtering technologies
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across systems, networks, and endpoints
  • Monitor systems, logs, and alerts for potential threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activity
  • Partner with leadership on security initiatives including compliance, risk mitigation, and incident response
  • Utilize Microsoft Purview and related tools for data governance, compliance, and protection strategies AI & Emerging Technology Enablement
  • Support infrastructure for AI workloads, including Linux-based environments, Ollama-hosted models, and vector databases
  • Assist in the deployment and operationalization of agentic systems and automation platforms
  • Ensure secure and scalable integration of AI technologies within the enterprise environment Networking & Infrastructure Operations
  • Configure, manage, and monitor LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, and wireless networks
  • Support VPN connectivity and secure remote access solutions
  • Coordinate network and infrastructure setup for office expansions or relocations
  • Monitor network performance and proactively address issues Backup, Recovery & Business Continuity
  • Manage and validate backup and disaster recovery solutions across all systems
  • Regularly test recovery procedures to ensure business continuity and data integrity
  • Ensure backup strategies align with organizational recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) Support, Troubleshooting & Operations
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting across systems, applications, and infrastructure
  • Resolve issues ranging from end-user support to complex system and network problems
  • Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and performance tuning Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and support junior IT staff, fostering growth and accountability
  • Assist in prioritizing IT workload and operational initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with the CIO and IT leadership on strategic direction and issue escalation

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Systems Administration experience in a Microsoft-centric environment
  • Strong experience with: Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Entra ID PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Experience supporting network infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP)
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks (MDR, EDR, email/web security)
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) required
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Identity, or Security)
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across systems and networks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, teachable, and continuously learning
  • Must be humble, teachable, and open minded Preferred Skills, Education, Certification, License, and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Microsoft certifications such as: (Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate)
  • Experience in executive leadership in Home Health, Hospice, and/or Home Care
  • Bilingual is a plus (English and Spanish)

$74,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
