Job Description
Customer Support Representative needed for equine veterinary practice. Immediate Full-Time Opening. Total Equine Veterinary Associates (TEVA), is a full-service, 100% mobile veterinary practice with 4 dedicated doctors. We provide advanced on-farm veterinary care throughout Northern Virginia and select areas of Maryland and West Virginia. We are committed to serving our clients and the equestrian community by providing comprehensive care for horses of all ages and activity levels. TEVA seeks a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Customer Care Representative. This vital role supports both doctors and clients daily, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking and remains calm under pressure. Key responsibilities include preparing and understanding medical records, scheduling detailed appointments, and relaying messages accurately between doctors and clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer high-volume phone calls efficiently and effecively
- Schedule appointments for clients at farms within our service areas (Loudoun, Fauquier, Prince William, and parts of MD and WV) via phone, text, and email
- Communicate promptly and professionally with clients
- Remain calm and composed during emergency dispatching
- Communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers and doctors
- Reserve medical equipment to ensure doctors are prepared for appointments
- Schedule follow-up appointments and daily farm calls
- Prioritize emergency, same-day, and future appointments in an organized manner
- Read and understand medical records accurately
- Correctly fill prescriptions
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure the best experience for our clients
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn from our experienced doctors Qualifications /
Requirements:
- Some background or knowledge in equine care
- Familiarity with basic equine veterinary care and terminology
- Dedicated worker with strong team collaboration skills
- Availability to work weekdays
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Cheerful and positive personality and attitude
Preferred:
Experience in a veterinary or medical office setting We recognize and reward leadership and excellence.Additional Details:
- Full time position; Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
