Adv Systems Administration Specialist Manassas, VA Pay Estimated:

$52.07-$57.07/Hour Active Secret Clearance Required to Start Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities:

Perform administration of physical and virtual server operating systems (Linux and Windows) Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, virtual platforms, and network interfaces Conduct systems analysis and implementation to ensure infrastructure remains current with evolving technologies Perform OS and vendor software patching in accordance with security compliance requirements Monitor and optimize server performance using enterprise monitoring tools Manage Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows server environments Support RHEL 8/9 and Red Hat-based Linux systems Troubleshoot and resolve issues across server OS, storage, and networking layers Configure and maintain firewalls and network switches (Cisco, Juniper) Develop and execute automation scripts to streamline repetitive administrative tasks Grant application permissions and provide user support in classified environments

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance required at time of hire 5+ years relevant systems administration experience Strong experience with Linux (RHEL 8/9, Red Hat) Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Experience with virtualization platforms and physical server hardware Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including firewalls and Cisco/Juniper switches Experience with server patch management and security compliance Ability to create and maintain automation scripts Experience supporting systems within classified/secure DoD environments On-site support required within a classified facility Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer What to Expect Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications.
