Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to join a Federal Program located in Newington, VA. The Infrastructure Administrator will c ollaborate with systems, network, database, backup, and cybersecurity teams to plan, implement, and support enterprise storage solutions that meet availability, capacity, and performance requirements. Responsibilities of the

Infrastructure Administrator:

Works closely with team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related issues, including storage connectivity, performance bottlenecks, backup and restore failures, and integration challenges with servers and applications. Operates in a highly collaborative operations environment with defined change management and incident management processes, participating in on-call rotations and coordinated maintenance windows to minimize impact to mission operations. Administers and maintains SAN/NAS environments, including provisioning storage, managing LUNs and volumes, monitoring capacity and performance, and executing upgrades and patching to ensure a secure and stable platform in support of the customer's mission. Leverages expertise in storage technologies, operating systems, and monitoring tools to automate routine tasks where possible, improve operational efficiency, and proactively identify and remediate risks to data availability and integrity. Infrastructure Administrator:

5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise SAN and/or NAS platforms such as NetApp. Experience with storage provisioning, LUN/volume management, RAID configuration, snapshots, replication, and storage performance tuning. Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux servers with attached storage (multipathing, file systems, mounts). Familiarity with backup/restore technologies and concepts such as Rubrik, Veeam, or similar. Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools for storage and server performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and documentation. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-paced, operational environment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to change, configuration, and incident management processes.
