Full-Time About the Role RIX Industries is seeking a Customer-Dedicated Service Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing compressors, gas generators, and related systems at a designated customer site. In this role, you will serve as the primary on-site representative of RIX Industries, ensuring equipment reliability, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will support mission-critical systems across Marine, Aerospace, Land, Energy, Industrial, Medical, and Critical Infrastructure markets. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives in field service environments, enjoys troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, and can effectively interface with customers and internal teams. What You'll Do Serve as the primary liaison between RIX Industries and the customer at the assigned site Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of compressors, gas generators, and associated equipment Overhaul and repair components in both field and on-site environments to meet customer requirements Ensure timely, high-quality service delivery aligned with customer expectations Maintain and manage RIX-owned tools, equipment, and consumables Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership of supply needs Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer stakeholders Support additional assignments as directed in the best interest of the business Must-Have Skills and Experience Technical school degree or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanical assembler, technician, or mechanic in a related field Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and basic software systems Experience using precision measurement tools (micrometers, feeler gauges, multimeters, etc.) Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction and reporting Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a customer-facing environment Valid driver's license U.S. Citizenship(ITAR Compliant) Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and reach Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at desks, equipment, or workstations Training will be provided on RIX compressor systems and technologies Nice-to-Have Skills Advanced coursework or certifications in mechanical assembly or repair Experience with air and gas compressors or similar mechanical systems (compressor experience can be trained) Prior field service or customer-facing technical support experience Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and compressor/generator systems Military background (understands structure, professionalism, customs/courtesies) Aviation experience strongly preferred HVAC or similar (mechanical + electrical troubleshooting) Experience in mechanical repair disciplines (hands-on) Who You Are A hands-on, detail-oriented technician with strong mechanical aptitude Customer-focused and able to represent the company professionally on-site A problem solver who can troubleshoot and resolve issues independently Organized and disciplined in managing tools, parts, and workflows Safety-conscious and compliant with operational standards Adaptable and willing to learn across mechanical, electrical, and basic software troubleshooting domains Adaptable and willing to travel as needed to support business needs

Additional Details Base Salary Range:

$75,000 - $88,000
