Job Summary:

The Systems Administrator III will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining, and integrating enterprise server infrastructure and Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions. The role requires strong experience with

SFTP, FTP/FTPS, HTTP/HTTPS, MFT

platforms, Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration, scripting, networking, security, and job scheduling. The administrator will troubleshoot transfer and server issues, support secure systems environments, participate in technology deployments and integration testing, and collaborate with business partners, internal teams, and vendors to maintain reliable and secure infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Deploy new technologies and design, install, configure, maintain, and perform system integration testing for server operating systems, utilities, and related hardware.
• Configure, maintain, and support enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Support file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTP/FTPS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Administer and troubleshoot MFT platforms such as IBM Sterling File Gateway, Axway, Sterling Secure Proxy, and Sterling Connect.
• Troubleshoot failed file transfers and diagnose connectivity, server, and application issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Perl.
• Administer Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
• Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and network security.
• Support secure file transfer environments using PGP/GPG encryption, SSH key management, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Use SQL to query transfer logs and status information as needed.
• Configure and monitor scheduled jobs using tools such as Control-M, AutoSys, and Cron.
• Troubleshoot server problems reported by users and provide timely resolution.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products based on business and technical requirements.
• Support web access and electronic messaging services while maintaining a secure systems environment.
• Develop hardware specifications based on application requirements and anticipated infrastructure growth.
• Install new servers and maintain enterprise server infrastructure.
• Support monitoring and alerting activities using tools such as Splunk, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
• Participate in change management processes and support technology releases and infrastructure changes.
• Support vendor and partner onboarding for new file transfer configurations.
• Provide on-call support for after-hours incidents, outages, and failed transfer events as required.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and coordinate with business partners and internal teams. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience where accepted.
• 5-7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
• Direct hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Strong experience with SFTP, FTP/FTPS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Experience with MFT platforms such as IBM Sterling File Gateway, Axway, Sterling Secure Proxy, or Sterling Connect.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.
• Experience developing automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Perl.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and network security.
• Basic SQL knowledge for querying file transfer logs and status information.
• Experience with PGP/GPG encryption, SSH key management, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Control-M, AutoSys, or Cron.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience diagnosing failed transfers and connectivity issues.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and security.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during outages and critical file transfer incidents.
• Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with business partners and internal teams. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with vendor-specific certifications such as IBM Sterling or Axway certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification or experience working within ITIL-based ticketing and change management environments.
• Certifications or formal training related to Linux or Microsoft operating systems.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Nagios, or SolarWinds.
• Experience with vendor and partner onboarding for file transfer configurations.
• Experience supporting compliance requirements relevant to secure file transfer and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience participating in change management processes and enterprise technology deployments.
