In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our complex IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system performance and reliability. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable solutions, managing diverse server environments, and supporting a wide array of applications and services. Your expertise will help drive operational excellence and support our organization's technological growth. Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance through system tuning and configuration management. Oversee server backup and recovery processes to safeguard critical data, utilizing tools such as VMware, ESXi, and other virtualization platforms. Implement and support system architecture solutions, including load balancing, RAID controller configurations, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory management. Develop automation scripts using Bash, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or other scripting languages to streamline system administration tasks. Support system troubleshooting efforts across hardware and software issues, including software implementation, administration, and technical troubleshooting support. Configure and manage storage solutions utilizing system administration storage management techniques for efficiency and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design resilient IT infrastructure architectures aligned with service-oriented architecture principles and microservices frameworks. Qualifications Proven experience in system administration across Windows Server, Linux/Unix environments, with strong knowledge of operating systems and system design principles. Hands-on expertise with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and VMware vSphere. Familiarity with database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB. Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, RESTful APIs, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, JavaScript or Shell Scripting for automation purposes. Experience with solution architecture development within a service-oriented architecture environment that leverages microservices and REST APIs. Knowledge of information security protocols to ensure data integrity and protection against cyber threats. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently while maintaining high levels of uptime and performance tuning standards. Relevant certifications such as
