Communicate clearly during live-site events:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, systems engineering, or industrial controls OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field AND 5+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, systems engineering, or industrial controls OR equivalent experience. Solid coding skills in at least one general-purpose language (C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript), including writing maintainable, testable code. Experience building automation and/or services that integrate with APIs, databases, and distributed systems. Hands-on debugging skills (logs, metrics, traces) and comfort working in a live-site/production environment. Experience using AI-based coding tools daily (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate development and debugging, while validating correctness, security, and performance. Domain knowledge or experience in Organic & Paid Search, as well as Display, Native, and Video advertising. Proficiency in developing tools and automation in C# to improve operational efficiency. Experience with customer-facing tier 3 technical support or within a software development organization. 3+ years technical experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems. Knowledge and experience in two or more of the following areas: data mining, web mining, machine learning, statistics, business intelligence/customer intelligence, user modeling, information retrieval, databases, data warehousing, data processing (ETL), e-metrics /measurement. - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800
- $219,200 per year.
