Job Description

Complete Office of Wisconsin is looking for an IT Database Administrator to oversee, secure and maintain the data systems while ensuring that all systems are available, efficient and secure. The IT Database Administrator will interact with internal personnel to ensure all ERP systems are optimized for their operations; and work with external customer-based personnel and IT departments to facilitate connectivity, systems interaction and data integrity. They must ensure that these systems are following IT policies and procedures and are up to date and compliant with our parent company and industry standards and regulations. IT Database Administrator Responsibilities Work to optimize, modify, test and monitor all ERP database systems and ensure maximum performance along with the network technician. Learn the database structure of the PICK system and work to develop and implement policies, procedures, processes and reports to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity. In conjunction with the network technician, work to ensure the organization's technological needs are met. This includes writing specifications and working with vendors to test and document as well as communicating to staff all systems' changes. Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems that improve IT infrastructure and support the organization's technology goals, as well as responding to our customers' changing needs and communications. Maintaining a strong understanding of the organization's business needs and working closely with other departments to ensure that IT is aligned with those needs. Ensuring that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with our parent company and industry standards and regulations (GISP). Work with the network technician and CFO to maximize budget and to ensure that expenses are in line with the organization's financial goals. Anticipate replacement of hardware and key operating systems and then communicating with the CFO these needs.‍ Manage period closings, purges and database file integrity testing. Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk as a back up to the Network/Infrastructure Technician. Requirements An IT Database Administrator should have a BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field Requires open availability. Candidates may need to work mornings, evenings, or weekends when needed. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, senior management, customers and other stakeholders. Proven experience in IT Database Administration with system installation, configuration and analysis. Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing. Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to effectively manage and troubleshoot issues. Knowledge of PICK Basic system a plus. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively Problem-solving aptitude
