 Non-exempt, 40 hours per week 8:00am - 5:00pm (after hours as needed)
LOCATION
Lander, WY Purpose:
Work with and become part of an excellent IT team. The following job description includes but is not limited to; provide input on the efficiency of the credit union's technology infrastructure to include hubs, switches, enterprise routers, servers, and network hardware and software. Recommend changes or upgrades or new products as a result of on-going administration of the network. Research and resolve network problems for end users. Install hardware and software. Assist IT Director in researching, planning, and implementing new technologies to improve member access and staff efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support the credit union's local area and wide area network hardware and software to ensure proper functionality with systems, PCs, servers, and all peripheral products are operational. 2. Build new systems (PC and Server) as needed. 3. Provide and run backup procedures that maintain the integrity and security of the credit union's technology infrastructure, including scheduled testing. 4. Lead disaster recovery testing on all systems with proper documentation and implement improvements based on results of testing. 5. Research and diagnose IT problems within the entire infrastructure, troubleshoot, and provide tested solutions. 6. Reply to user problems on PCs to include software applications, systems integration, or individual hardware problems. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve the problem. 7. Provide individual support to end users & members via the phone, in person, or on-line to answer questions or resolve problems. 8. Take lead on maintaining databases and libraries including systems security functions, patch management, and vulnerability remediation. 9. Coordinate technology resources including main system, telecommunications network, telephone systems, and personal computer connectivity. 10. Install, configure, and test new servers and systems, fax, printers. 11. Administer domain changes, GPO policies, user creation and file server permissions. 12. Maintain complete and accurate documentation and support services/warranties for new equipment, software, hardware, and peripherals. 13. Install and test new software both for the network and for individual users with a security focus. 14. Assist in administering the phone system. 15. Assist in repair of copiers, printers, PCs, or laptops. 16. Keep abreast of state-of-the-art hardware and software developments. Recommend new technologies that enhance the efficiency and security of the network infrastructure. 17. Answer questions and support staff and members in their technology needs. 18. Run risk assessments on systems and vendors, and document accordingly.

Expectations To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers. To ensure all documentation is completed with accuracy. To own tasks, and systems and improve both systems and self as we grow. To work scheduled hours with on time attendance to support staff. After hours support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT related field, along with 5 years experience working in a fast paced windows based IT position. Experience with financial institutions and system administration a plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to operate confidentiality are required. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Windows server 2022 and 2025, Office 365, Intune. Proficient in Microsoft hosted exchange, along with Intune Proficient in Windows 11 pro Disaster Recovery experience needed. Experience with vulnerability scanning, patching, and management Strong math, communication and keyboarding skills required. Solid time management skills and the ability to organize prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Enthusiasm for assignments and the ability to meet established timelines. Experience with Active directory management (users, computers, groups, OU's and Group Policies) Fundamentals of DNS, DHCP, and basic routing experience Understanding of basic networking (subnets, IP ranges) Experience with (Hyper-V) Experience with scripting in a windows environment, powershell, batch etc. IT security experience & certificates preferred.
