Full Job Description Job Description:
The Service Technician 4 is an expert-level position responsible for overseeing all aspects of service and maintenance operations within service stations and convenience gas stations. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Service Technician 4 also serves as a mentor to other technicians, providing training and support as needed. This person is expected to lead by example, demonstrating advanced technical skills and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all duties of a Service Technician 3, including leading complex installation, maintenance, and repair projects. Oversee the planning and execution of all service and maintenance activities, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service operations and customer satisfaction. Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance and repair activities. Provide expert technical support and guidance to Service Technician 1, 2, and 3 team members. Conduct advanced training sessions for technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including comprehensive reports on complex issues and resolutions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Serve as a point of contact for escalated issues and provide solutions to complex problems. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Must have a valid Driver License. Familiarity with computer operations and an aptitude for learning computer skills. Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification, preferred. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day. Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
