Job Description:

We are hiring for a great client in Newport Beach, CA. This is an on-site contract opportunity for an IT Technician - Operations who will provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and assist with network and systems administration. Responsibilities Provide help desk and desktop support to end users with varying technical skills Install, configure, and maintain PC and Mac hardware, software, and peripherals Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity Support Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, antivirus tools, and other standard business applications Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory; perform basic system administration tasks Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, security, and system availability Log, track, and resolve support tickets in a timely manner Prepare technical documentation and user instructions as needed Assist IT team with hardware/software upgrades, system testing, and installations Coordinate with vendors and internal staff to resolve technical issues Stay current on emerging technology trends and recommend improvements Qualifications 2+ years of technical IT support or operations experience Bachelors Degree in related field preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Mac operating systems Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and common business applications Experience with PC hardware/software troubleshooting and networking protocols (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP) Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
