There are NVIDIA buses that will be accessible or can walk, or drive. Mileage will be paid if decide to drive between sites (must have proper documentation).
Hours:
M-F (with on-call rotation)
On-Call:
Required once every 4 weeks (up to 11:00 PM, Monday-Sunday)
Travel:
Local travel between sites (NVIDIA transport available or mileage reimbursed with documentation) Role Overview This is a hands-on Data Center Technician Level 2 role, supporting NVIDIA's lab and office environments. The position focuses on troubleshooting servers, rack & stack, cabling, and assisting network teams with infrastructure tasks. This role requires strong Level 1 networking knowledge, excellent execution on tickets, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and isolate issues across a variety of servers. Perform rack & stack of servers, switches, PDUs, and supporting infrastructure. Install, replace, and ship defective server components back to vendors. Update server firmware to ensure systems are running current versions. Configure IP addresses and default credentials on servers. Execute and manage tickets in ServiceNow and Jira while reporting trends. Assist network admins with tasks such as: Replacing or rerouting cables Swapping optics on server/switch ports Installing upgraded hardware components Temporarily rack, cable, and stage devices for remote configuration. Support Level 1 activities as needed. Assist with Remote Desktop Center (RDC) troubleshooting for PCs and laptops. Provide insights into ticket tracking and recurring lab issues Top Skills Details layer 1 Networking, rack and stack, hardware troubleshooting, cat6, cabling Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have a good attitude and work well within a team. Communication style must be clear and direct. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
