Network Technician

Description Overview Hands‑on role supporting network infrastructure, security systems, and VoIP across multiple sites. Ideal for someone who enjoys field work, installs, and troubleshooting. What You'll Do + Install and support switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi‑Fi + Support ISP‑grade networks (routing, VLANs, basic CGNAT) + Monitor networks and respond to outages + Perform rack installs, cable management, and hardware swaps + Install and support: + IP cameras (CCTV) and NVRs + Access control systems (card readers, keypads, doors) + VoIP phones and SIP services + Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and hardware issues + Maintain basic documentation (diagrams, configs, updates) + Work with vendors, IT teams, and site staff + Handle service tickets and preventative maintenance Requirements What You Need + 2-5 years of hands‑on experience in: + Networking + CCTV / cameras + VoIP + Access control + Working knowledge of: + TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, basic routing + PoE + Experience with: + Structured cabling + IP cameras and NVRs + SIP‑based VoIP + Door/access systems + Strong troubleshooting skills + Ability to read basic network and wiring diagrams Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
