Job Description

Hiring a Workstation Technician to support a large healthcare organization in Jacksonville. This onsite role is a good fit for someone with hands-on workstation support experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work well with end users and IT teams.
Schedule:
Normally 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with flexibility to work other shifts as needed. Overtime and on-call participation may be required. Responsibilities Configure, install, relocate, and troubleshoot workstations and related hardware and software. Label equipment and verify and document device specifications. Provide onsite technical support and customer service to end users. Track support requests and document work in ticketing software. Coordinate with Help Desk, Applications, Materials Management, and other support teams. Maintain supplies and equipment inventory and follow IT security procedures. Explain basic hardware and software requirements, equipment changes, scheduling, and support options to users. Required qualifications At least two years of relevant workstation experience and strong customer service experience. High school diploma. Valid driver's license. Experience using ticket-tracking software. Understanding of computer hardware, software, and basic networking, including CPU, internet, client/server, and LAN/WAN. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, collaborate with a team, and adjust to changing workloads and high-priority requests. Ability to distinguish colors and perform physical tasks that include bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, and lifting 75 pounds or more. Relevant experience within the past four months is required for consideration. Preferred qualifications Any one of the following is preferred: Associate degree. Two years of technical school training in computers, technology, electronics, or a related field. Two years of customer service experience supporting computers. #AJ1
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
