Desk Support Technician We are seeking a Desk Support Technician to provide onsite workstation setup, installation, cable management, and Tier 1 troubleshooting for an enterprise workplace deployment in the Miami, FL area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Hardware & Peripherals:

Unbox, assemble, and position desktops, docking stations, dual/single monitors, and accessories. Configure display settings, screen orientation, and resolutions.

Cable Organization:

Route, bundle, and secure power, display, USB, and LAN cables using velcro ties and trays to ensure a clean, safe, and ergonomic workspace.

Connectivity & Power:

Connect docking stations to desk network drops and verify all equipment power connections.

Validation:

Power on units to test full hardware readiness, display options, peripheral functions, and wired/wireless network access.

• Tier 1

Support:

Resolve fundamental power, display, and connection issues via soft resets or component swaps. Document damaged assets and escalate complex issues.

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

3-month contract with strong potential; 5 days/week onsite in the Miami, FL area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EUC, Deskside, or IT Field Services experience supporting large office moves, tech refreshes, or site rollouts (500+ user environments).
• Proficient with enterprise Windows PCs, docking stations, and multi-monitor setups.
• Ability to perform basic network troubleshooting, follow deployment checklists, and track assets within enterprise ITSM environments.
• Strong face-to-face customer service skills and reliable transportation to the site.
• Authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship provided).
