Immediately Job Description VACANCY Maquoketa Community School District Information Systems Technician 2026-2027 School Year Responsibilities to include: Provide technical support to students, staff, and administration at the High School and district facilities. Troubleshoot and repair Windows, ChromeOS, macOS, and mobile devices. Support Google Workspace, Microsoft Windows, and district technology systems. Assist with management of network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, printers, and telecommunications systems. Deploy, inventory, and maintain student and staff devices. Assist with cybersecurity initiatives including account security, multi-factor authentication, content filtering, and endpoint protection. Support instructional technology, classroom technology, interactive displays, and educational software. Maintain accurate technology inventory and documentation. Provide training and assistance to staff regarding district technology resources. Collaborate with the technology team to plan, implement, and support district technology initiatives.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience supporting Windows, ChromeOS, and Google Workspace environments preferred. Experience with wireless networking, switching, and network troubleshooting preferred. Experience supporting educational technology and student information systems preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. K-12 educational technology experience preferred.
Rate of Compensation:
Starting salary based on experience Attractive benefit package per the professional non-teaching settlement conditions 220 Day Contract (month of July is off)
